To Check Before we arrive...

• If your toilet is backing up (overflowing), you can push an old towel into the toilet bowl to create a temporary stop to avoid further damage to floor covers and furniture.
• Make sure any inspection chambers (manhole covers) are easily accessible by moving cars, plant pots or other obstructions where possible.
• Avoid using water in the house such as washing machines, dishwashers, sinks and basins.
• Don't panic! We treat all blocked drains with the highest priority, so we will be with you soon.

Repeated blockages / Troublesome Drain

If your drain is blocking regularly (every few months or so) there is likely to be a failure in the sewer line. We can provide a CCTV survey of the lines around your property to ascertain the problem and provide a solution. Our groundwork team can then provide a quote for the repairs.

Please note that if your house was built between 1950 and 1980 you may have sewer drain problems due to the use of Pitch Fibre. Read more about Pitch Fibre.
